An exciting feature of the 2011 Education Conference will be the International Competitions.  This year there are two categories of competition.   The very first is the 10th International Competition of Ph.D. Students on Research in a Technology-based Education Region, and the second is the 7th International Competition of Non-Commercial Software Systems, Tools and Goods for Technology-based Education.

Unique Education Conference Awards will also be given, in 3 distinct categories.  These consist of the CATE 2011 Very best Paper Award, the CATE 2011 Very best Ph.D. Student Award, and the CATE 2011 Best Software System Award.

You may well also sponsor the Education Conference, and enhance your position in the industry by demonstrating new investigation and technologies.   It’s a excellent opportunity to reach academics and experts in your chosen field.  Several choices are offered, from event signage and exhibiting, to item-oriented lectures and sponsorship of coffee breaks.

Cambridge is a lovely mix of modern and medieval, and residence to historical Cambridge University.  There is a lot in the way of local entertainment, restaurants, pubs, and shopping centers. Explore the cobblestone streets.  Punt down the river, but be positive to maintain your balance or you may possibly just fall in!

The International Association for Science and Technology for Development (IASTED) is a non-profit organization founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1977.
